Struggle For Survival VR : Battle Royale changes
We have a massive update ready for you. There are big and small fixes, in all areas of the game, and on over 15 categories. For example,Increased daily login rewards, which will greatly increase the speed of obtaining loot. Added sprint function, the player's movement speed will be greatly improved.
Update 1.0.2.0 Changelog Move speed adjustment
In previous versions, the player's Move speed was affected by many factors such as posture, input device, and face orientation. This design is both complicated and unfavorable to the player's understanding. So we made adjustments. In this version, we not only balance the speed of moving forward, but also balance the speed of other actions such as retreat, lateral movement, squat movement, and so on. Now you will feel more stable and natural when you move.
Sprint function
We have received feedback from many players. One of the more representative topics is to increase the player's speed in the game. Because of the "motion sickness" problem in VR games, we did not give players the ability to move at high speed in previous versions. We admit that it prevents those physically adaptable players from having a better experience to some extent.For this reason, we have added "sprints" in this version. Now you can turn on this feature by pressing and holding the left hand trigger key when you think it is necessary. At the same time, we added a sprint-specific "energy slot." You will consume this energy slot when you are sprinting and will automatically respond when you are not sprinting.
Move speed of aiming
Many of our game players have live firing experience. Without exception, they all know that the speed of movement should be reduced when aiming. If you keep moving at a high speed while firing, the stability of the gun will deteriorate, and the impact of the recoil of the firearm will eventually make the accuracy of shooting much lower. When aiming in the VR game, the player's hands are suspended and there is no force point, and the VR device will be very sensitive to capture the player's hand trembling. The current VR head resolution is not high.When the player is moving fast, the objects they see will become unclear. Adding the two also greatly reduces the accuracy of shooting. For the above considerations, we have added a setting to the game. When you aim the gun, the speed will decrease by 70%. If you put down the gun at this time, we will think that you want to move instead of shooting, and it will return to the original speed.
Red dot sight
Updated the display of the red dot sight. At present, the player can aim more accurately. Red-point sights are classified into reflex sights and holographic sights and have been adjusted to the model of real firearms.
Left/right hand mode
The player's comments mentioned the addition of a left-handed gun model, which we have added in this version. The way to turn it on is to select your dominant hand in the game settings.
Dual-hold mode
In previous versions, in order to simplify the player's operating density, we did not support the player's dual-handed gun behavior, which made many players who accustomed to authentic operation feel unpleasant. Since there are really many people who raised this issue, we decided to add this content to this version. Now that you can move the non-armed hand closer to the barrel of the weapon, it will automatically absorb, and the stability of the weapon will increase significantly. If you press the trigger button of a non-armed gunner you will grab the barrel and you can aim more accurately with both hands.
Modify the way zombies appear
In this version, wild zombies don't appear out of thin air, and they exist in the game as bodies before attacking players. You can choose to bypass them or face them bravely.
Floor material sound
In order to enhance immersion, we have given different footstep sounds for different floor materials, and at the same time we have strengthened the influence coefficient of distance on the sound. In addition, we have also fixed a BUG, its existence makes the previous version of the distance impact coefficient almost ineffective, resulting in many players feel confused when they make a judgment.
New background music
We added 2 new background music, and each time you open the game, you hear them randomly.
Transport cabin
The color of the parachute indicator in the nacelle is too dazzling. At present, the tail signal is added as an alternative.And now you can see the players in the cabin.
Trophy
In this version, we have added apparel accessories that you can configure more personally. In addition, we added cold weapon mace. To be honest, the mace is so cool, and it hurts a lot. Just tap the mace you can kill a zombie.All these items can be obtained by opening trophies.
Gold coin promotion
Because of the increase in out-of-box rewards, we have also increased the number of gold coins in the game. First, you will get 100 gold coins each day, and then you will get 15 gold coins by killing one player character in multiplayer mode.
Adjust key operations
HTC and Oculus have different numbers of keys, so it is not conducive to compatibility development. In this version, we have unified the number of buttons and operating methods, and added sprint keys. For details, see the description of the keys in the game.
Camera
As the player moves in the real world, the characters in the game go through obstacles, such as walls. At this point the player can still shoot, which makes the game unfair. So we made a limit. If the player tries to pass through the object, the camera retreats.
Performance optimization
Adjusting the game architecture and object distance vision display, thereby improving rendering efficiency of 8%.
Modify the data synchronization method
In previous versions, the game had a large probability of starting to fail because of a data synchronization timeout. We have modified the synchronization mode to increase the reconnection efficiency.
