Improvements

  • You will no longer backfill into matches with less than 1 minute to go OR a 3 or larger goal difference

  • Backfills are limited to 10 per match total to avoid a ship of Theseus or backfilling people into faulty matches

  • Improved matchmaking search

  • Reduced AFK kick timer to 1 minute

  • Added a "Purchase Tokens" button in outfit/appearance since it was not easily found before

  • You'll receive a warning if the Steam overlay isn't enabled when you try to purchase tokens

  • Improved some automated moderation for several languages

  • Improved performance of our internal back-end servers to handle more players

  • Improved our server-side anti-cheat in general

Cosmetics

  • Added R9 and Mohawk Dreads hairstyle

  • Added Speedster shoes

  • Added Arch eyebrows

Fixes

  • Fixed Y Axis inversion on gamepad not working online

  • Fixed red card during Extra Time benching you indefinitely

  • Fixed servers being hard capped to 16 people, you can now play 11v11

  • Fixed several incorrect translations

  • Fixed matches getting stuck in throw-in mode for no team on rare occasions

  • Fixed backfill activating again if Extra Time goes over the max time to backfill

  • Fixed a bug that let you cancel slide tackles with jockey dash

  • Fixed maintenance popup showing mid-match when the game goes into maintenance

Next focus

  • We're working on a better positioning system where you select a position before the match

  • We've identified several high value performance improvements we can make and will work on

  • Remaining bugs in ⁠known-issues and other issues that come up
