Strike Team Delta changes
Just over a year ago I made an announcement about a big update that was in the works to be released that would drastically improve and overhaul the game.
I know the first question on your mind is, where is it? Has anything been done? What is happening?
Firstly I would like to apologise for how long it has been to get this content out to you.
I fully intended at the time to deliver on that promise within a few months not a year.
I do still have the updated project however it still needs some work.
Why is this not complete?
Well this is where not having a team to lean on is hard. I lost my father not long after the last post was made and it completely killed my drive to do any of the things I love. University has also been a soul crushing weight on my shoulders.
What happens now?
I have left university and have been for the last couple of days getting myself familiarised with everything again. My spark is back now that I have worked through these personal issues.
I would like to get the new content to you ASAP. Therefore I will be releasing an update by 31/03/26 to give you what you deserve and show I want to turn this project around. Due to the timeline the full list of features might not all be there but the bulk should be.
Primarily:
ALS animation integration
Inspect animations
Completely overhauled gunplay mechanics.
For those who have been asking, YES we are going back to full first person!
Things that could possibly be in this update without promising too much
Sight cycling
New Customisation system
A new AI system
These 3 things primaraly are going to be dictated by how well I can optimise them to not set your computer on fire.
Anyhow I have yapped enough, regular update posts to follow.
