Streets of Fury EX changes
Ten years ago, Streets of Fury EX burst onto the scene with absurd action, unhinged humor, and a now-legendary catchphrase: “Come back in ten years!” Well… here we are.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of our game, we’re proud to release the Come Back in 10 Years Update, a free major update for all owners of Streets of Fury EX!
What’s in the update?
Tag-Battle mode
Every game mode now has a Tag Battle variant, letting you swap characters mid-fight and push combos even further.
As co-founder Cyrille Lagarigue puts it:
“Tag Battle exponentially increases combo possibilities. It’s like salted butter on a croissant — it sounds excessive, but it’s delicious.”
New playable characters
In partnership with Joueur Du Grenier, two new fighters join the roster:
Le Joueur du Grenier
Seb du Grenier
(We are still working on them, the two new characters will be playable in 10 days)
New challenges
10 Years of Training
French FGC from 2010
Grand Paris New Gang
A decade in the making
Exactly ten years ago, Streets of Fury EX was featured in the Dungee Double Feature video by videogamedunkey, which racked up over 5.4 million views and immortalized the phrase “Come back in ten years!”
Since then, the community has been counting down — years, months, days — until this moment. This update is our way of saying thanks to the YouTube and fighting game communities that helped make Streets of Fury what it is today.
