changedAs for what I’ve been doing recently, this week I’ve been working on the final level in the game. This is a wild level with some nice technical lines, but some really massive gaps and drops too. These levels have all been mostly done for quite a while, but based on the craziness I’ve seen people do in the demo I’ve been slowly going back through all the levels and beefing up the available lines. I’m nearly done with this last level, then I’m going to be going back through all the challenges and making sure they all work with the extra features etc. Then there's a little more work to do on the cosmetic stuff, then testing, more testing, etc etc etc!

Those of you on the Discord (https://discord.gg/RBk8We8RQ9) will have heard this already, but for everyone else:

I’m still cracking on with the game, and I’m very much in the polish phase - making sure all the levels are jam packed with fun stuff to ride and interesting spots to discover. After that I need to polish all of the challenges, and then it’s on to final bug fixing and then finally release! The exact release timing is still up in the air, but I’m currently aiming for the end of the summer on PC, around September time. This is not final and things may change etc etc, but it works as a very rough estimate of when to expect the full game to drop. I’ve had a little set back on the console side of things - my (ex) publisher Null has shut down all of their publishing operations, so I’m back to working on the game totally solo. For those that don't know, I've been a solo dev (previous games include Pumped BMX and Trailboss BMX) for most of my 'career', but this game is a much bigger game than any of those games were. So you might need to bear with me a bit while I figure out how to manage it all by myself!

Now that’s I’m back to managing all the Steam stuff solo (which I’m still finding my way around!), I’ll try and post more of these updates here to keep you in the loop. But for more info and chat head over to the Discord!

Nice one, Ads x
