It's finally time.
Time for everyone to take up the bat of the Street Cleaner and embark on the quest to track down a criminal kingpin and root out crime and injustice.
When the Street Cleaner project began, with the goal of paying homage to the action and vigilante films of the 1980's we never thought it would make it this far. When we talked about how any hit movie of the time would have sold off the video game rights for a quick buck, we laughed at the joke. But when we decided to make that game real, we put our hearts and souls into it. This isn't just a video game, this is the STREET CLEANER video game.
Steam post image The soundtrack was composed by the man himself in FamiTracker, meaning it's not just an NES soundalike, it will actually play on an NES! However, the album isn't just the OST, it's the latest full Street Cleaner album release featuring not just the in game music, but a selection of tracks based on and inspired by it in all the pulse-pounding Street Cleaner dark synth glory. Buy the album on Bandcamp and you'll get a whole TEN additional bonus tracks of b-sides and other unused music intended for the game. Looking to the near future. While we couldn't get achievements and leaderboards in the game in time for launch, those will be coming soon! Once Steam determines that the game is viable enough for trading cards, we'll be making those too. We still have some other amazing ideas for the game we'd like to do, and the more successful you all make the game, the easier it will be to make all those things happen!
Thank you all for your support, we hope you enjoy Street Cleaner: The Video Game as much as we enjoyed making it. - The Creaky Lantern Games Team
