Campy Horror 3D Platformer 'Strange Brew' Launches on Steam Today
Outrun the apocalypse as Joe the Duck in a midnight marathon of zombies, mayhem, and caffeine.
Winnipeg, Canada – February 18, 2026 – Electric Monk Media today announced the official launch of its cinematic action platformer Strange Brew, now available on Steam. Jump into the webbed feet of Joe the Duck, a twitchy coffee-shop mascot fueled by espresso, as he sprints, leaps, and scrambles through a town overrun by the undead.
Set in the ruins of a company-owned town, Strange Brew tells the story of a catastrophic MoonDucks Coffee experiment gone horribly wrong. A contaminated pumpkin spice latte has transformed citizens into ravenous zombies, leaving Joe to navigate the fallout using speed, timing, and whatever environmental chaos he can turn to his advantage. From crackling power lines to collapsing streets and runaway industrial machinery, survival depends on quick thinking and creative momentum.

Blending cinematic camera work with fast-paced 3D platforming, Strange Brew delivers relentless chase sequences and outrageous horror spectacle. Dash through strobe-lit warehouses, cling to life atop speeding transit systems, and improvise escapes as entire city blocks descend into disaster. Tension escalates on every level, pushing Joe and the player to keep moving no matter how dire things become.
As a tribute to classic zombie cinema, Strange Brew also features an unlockable black-and-white “1968 Living Dead Mode." Grainy visuals, stark lighting, and vintage flair offer an alternate way to experience the apocalypse, preferably with a strong cup of coffee close at hand.
