Strange Antiquities changes
Dear Thaumaturges,
As we approach the end of 2025, we just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who has played Strange Antiquities and Strange Horticulture (or both) this year!
The response to Strange Antiquities has honestly meant the world to us. Seeing the game reach Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam, with nearly 2,000 reviews, is something we’re incredibly proud of and something we never take for granted. Thank you for every review, video, social media post, comment, message, wishlist (etc)! We’re deeply grateful to everyone who’s taken the time to share their experience, especially to those who have recommended our games to others.
Making games is a strange, often solitary process (especially for us as a small team), and releasing them into the world is both exciting and terrifying. Knowing that so many of you have enjoyed our games, exploring their mysteries, uncovering their secrets, and embracing their dark-but-cosy atmosphere, makes all the difference.
2025 has been an incredible year for games (John has recently disappeared down the Blue Prince rabbit hole and hasn’t been seen since), and the bar for success feels higher than ever. There are so many brilliant titles competing for attention, so we’re truly delighted that our Strange games have managed to stand out and find a place among them.
Thank you for playing, for supporting us, and for being such a thoughtful and passionate community. Wishing you all the best for the holidays!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Rob & John
