Am I affected? How does the issue present? Either just before or as the title screen for Storynth appears, users may see a popup alerting them that their profile is associated with a version of NW.js that is incompatible with the game. If the user closes this popup, Storynth will run normally, and its functionality will not be affected in any way.

How do I fix it?

  1. Navigate to C:\\Users[user name here]\\AppData\\Local\\User Data\\Default

  2. Select the "Web Data" and "Web Data-journal" files.

  3. Delete both.

  4. Start Storynth.

Why does this work? In short, the "Web Data" files do not typically refresh every time the game is started, as Storynth utilizes no Web-based features. When the game is restarted after deleting the duo of files, they are automatically re-generated in their previous directory with consideration for the NW.js version change.
