Storm Lancers – Patch 1.1 Highlights

We love our players and we listen to player feedback! We are excited to announce a significant patch to Storm Lancers. Here’s what’s included:

Improved Performance During Support Drone Encounters

Some players experienced heavy frame drops or visual distortion when Support Drones activated their shields during intense combat.

What’s changed: We’ve optimized the visual effects tied to Support Drone shields to keep combat smooth and readable — even when the action ramps up.

What you’ll notice:

• More stable performance during busy fights

• Cleaner visuals when shields are active

• Fewer slowdowns in high-intensity moments

Improved Text Readability on Steam Deck

On Steam Deck, certain in-game text (tooltips, dialogue, menus) appeared smaller than intended.

What’s changed: Text sizing and UI layouts have been adjusted to improve clarity and comfort on Steam Deck.

What you’ll notice:

• Larger, more readable text

• Less eye strain during longer sessions

• A better overall handheld experience

Fixed a Crash After Using Mystical Shield

In rare cases, using Mystical Shield and exiting the game shortly after could cause a crash.

What’s changed: This issue has been resolved so exiting the game after using Mystical Shield is now stable and safe.

What you’ll notice:

• Fewer crashes

• More reliable game exits

• Peace of mind when wrapping up a session
