A new update is now available for Storm Grill Demo Playtest!

This update expands language support and adjusts the demo progression to better match the intended experience.

12 Supported Languages

Storm Grill is now available in the following languages:

  • English (en-US)

  • Turkish (tr-TR)

  • German (de-DE)

  • French (fr-FR)

  • Spanish - Spain (es-ES)

  • Portuguese - Brazil (pt-BR)

  • Italian (it-IT)

  • Polish (pl-PL)

  • Russian (ru-RU)

  • Korean (ko-KR)

  • Japanese (ja-JP)

  • Simplified Chinese (zh-CN)

Localization is still being improved, so if you notice any translation issues or awkward wording, please let me know through Discord or the Steam forums. There will be further patches to improve the localization.

To change the language, simply navigate to the Language tab in the Options menu. By default, the game will use your operating system’s display language if it is available, and will fall back to English otherwise.

Demo Progression Changes

The demo has been adjusted to provide a more focused experience.

  • Reduced the number of skills available in the demo.

  • The stage cap is now Stage 2 instead of Stage 3.

  • Some skills have been slightly tweaked.

These changes are intended to improve pacing and better represent the experience the demo is designed to offer.

As a result of these changes, estimated demo playtime should have be reduced by around 15 minutes, from roughly ~60 minutes to ~45 minutes for the average player.
