Better controller support Enhanced control scheme for controller players. The project should be completely controllable with a gamepad with the exception of a known bug where the controller cannot control the pause/main menu.
Reduced storage size Removed the future update game files and optimized the remainder of the files. This results in ~65% reduced file size. Stories of Liane is now 7.65 GB at the moment.
Fixed user experience for terminals Terminals now reset the user's cursor position when approaching the device. This should get rid of most of the bugs that have been popping up where users were unable to use the terminals. We are monitoring the issue to see if it still occurs, but if you experience it after this patch, please let us know so we can look into it.
Added a manual save option Players can now quicksave using Tab or Gamepad Left Special Button, then go to the pause menu to reload the last quicksave. Using this feature will reset all of the player's variables to when the save was created.
Expanded the pause menu The player can now view more information in the pause menu including a resume game button, a settings button (which includes graphical setting options and control scheme), a reload quicksave button, and an area where the last code found is displayed.
Optimized lighting and effects Performance has been an issue at launch. A small step to improvement has been to greatly optimize lighting and effects. Performance should make a small improvement with this update, and there will be more to come.
Skip intro option For replayability, users can skip the intro by pressing Esc or Gamepad Right Special Button and selecting 'Skip Intro'.
Thank you very much for the feedback! We will continue to improve the game and begin working on Chapter Two!
