Fellow Crewmates!
Today, we continue introducing the Gun-Dog and her crew.
First, we’re excited to share a preview of another soundtrack:
Your New Orders
https://youtu.be/Cs3HqWVfz6k * The full version of the track will be available as part of the OST after the game releases.
This track appears in the latter half of the game, during a pivotal moment when the protagonist team faces a life-altering decision. Accompanied by this music, they will overcome their inner obstacles and take the hardest steps to resolve the crisis.
Fire Control
As a lightweight, high-speed patrol ship, the Gun-Dog has forgone heavy armaments—including a main cannon—retaining only close-range patrol cannons and a few missile launchers for minimal self-defence. With no weapons requiring manual operation or optical targeting, the fire control system is almost entirely automated, making it one of the most streamlined systems aboard.
As a result, after the war ended, the Fire Control Room became one of the most peaceful places on the ship—used mostly for drills. While the crew often jokes that the fire control team does nothing all day, deep down, everyone hopes they never have to.
Warrant Officer Dylan Dees
Dylan is perhaps the most mysterious person aboard the Gun-Dog, spending most of his time in Fire Control and rarely even visiting the Mess Hall. Given that fire control is essentially a quiet, low-maintenance post, many see it as a cushy job.
On the rare occasions you cross paths with him, he’s usually wearing headphones. Strike up a conversation, and it won’t be long before he starts talking about his love for obscure rock music—and his disdain for contemporary pop hits. Rumour has it he was reassigned to the Gun-Dog after missing an order on his previous ship because he was too focused on his music. If he makes the same mistake again, he might be stuck on ground duty… though he doesn’t seem to care. For Dylan, all that matters is having a quiet space to listen to his music.
Stay tuned for the next episode of "One Hundred Views of the Gun-Dog"!
