Repeated intro
Hello, explorers!
What changed
- Compatibility
Stellar Wanderer DX changes
It's official - Stellar Wanderer DX is now Steam Deck Verified.
Before launch we told you we'd self-audited the game against Valve's compatibility pillars and that you could jump in with confidence. Valve has now reviewed the game and come to the same conclusion, and the green badge is live on the store page.
What Verified means for you
Input: Full controller support, with all on-screen prompts automatically switching to Xbox glyphs.
Seamlessness: No external launchers, no "tinker required" pop-ups, and full Cloud Save support for swapping between PC and Deck mid-run.
Display: Native 1280x800 and 1280x720 support, with legible text at handheld distance.
Proton: Runs on the default Proton version with no configuration needed.
In short: install it, press play, and you're in orbit.
Thank you!
A genuine thank you to everyone who tested on Deck during the pre-launch window and sent us reports. Several of the fixes that got us here came directly from your posts in the discussion threads.
Keep the reports coming
If you run into anything on Deck, our Steam Deck Discussion Thread is still the best place to reach us.
And if the game runs well for you, consider submitting a report to ProtonDB, it helps fellow Deck users know what to expect.
Best Regards, The Stellar Wanderer Team
