Thank you for your continued interest and support for the Space Development Initiative. In this fourth devlog, we are happy to present some of our recent progress:
We have completed the Investment feature. If you're looking to expand your galactic trade empire, this is a vital way to generate wealth.
Alaric, an industrial space station in the El Cid Star System, will showcase the unique appeal of large-scale interstellar manufacturing, and Starcrest Mine in the Horn Star System will be a highly profitable cornerstone of your growing corporate empire.
Two brand-new commodities: High‑Purity Silane (SiH₄), an absolute must-have consumable for high-end industrial manufacturing, and the magical Smart Integrated Fabrics.

Investment
Development of the Investment feature is now complete.
Numerous space stations across the galaxy are now opening their doors to investment from interstellar traders such as yourselves! Some of them produce highly valuable specialty goods, in which investing grants access to exclusive patents that can later be used to build your own production lines.
Investments can be channeled to speed up production, consumption, or raise inventory cap, which improves both purchasing and selling opportunities. You can also choose between massive, moderate, and minor amounts of investment, allowing you to tailor your strategy to local market conditions.
Beyond earning periodic dividends, the shares acquired through investments can be traded after 200 star hours. Your commercial activity at a space station directly influences its Prosperity, which can in turn drive up its Share Price. Be sure to keep an eye on the unexpected events in the star system, too, as they may trigger massive fluctuations in the Share Price. Time the market right, buy low, sell high, and you can rake in massive profits.

Alaric
Alaric is a major industrial space station located in the El Cid Star System, orbiting the rocky planet El Cid-1. Its orbital period is 8 years and 2,156 star hours.
With an average surface temperature of approximately 45 °C and a thin atmosphere, El Cid-1 is unfit for human habitation.
Alaric manufactures heavy mining equipment, including excavators, crushers, and haulers, serving Deepcore Imperium's vast network of mining stations in every step of the process.
This industrial space station holds unparalleled advantages over ground-based factories in stellar energy consumption, mineral resource extraction, microgravity assembly, interstellar logistics, and pollution reduction.
Starcrest Mine
Located beyond the orbit of Horn-5 in the Horn Star System, the Starcrest Mine falls under the sovereignty of Terran Dominion. Qualified stellar traders holding a Mining License may bid for operational rights and become a Mine Owner.
Starcrest Mine is home to significant ilmenite reserves, estimated at 137,000 units. Once refined into Ultra-Titanium Alloy, the extracted ore provides valuable materials for the construction of space structures and aerospace components.
For any stellar trader, such industrial assets are game-changing, serving as a reliable foundation for long-term operations and as a steady source of income.

High‑Purity Silane (SiH₄)
High‑Purity Silane (SiH₄) is a crucial precursor gas used in semiconductor epitaxial growth and microelectronics manufacturing. Refined through a multi-stage distillation process that limits impurities to the parts-per-billion (ppb) level, it is an essential material for the production of quantum chips, superconducting circuits, and precision spacecraft electronics. This resource is highly volatile and explosive, requiring pressurized, inert storage environments. It is an indispensable strategic consumable for high-end industrial manufacturing.
Smart Integrated Fabrics
Smart Integrated Fabrics are advanced textiles woven from smart fibers and natural cotton-linen blends. Capable of monitoring vital signs, regulating temperature and humidity and, in certain garments, emitting gentle microcurrents to counter muscle atrophy, they are designed to enhance comfort and support overall health needs.

Our newest series of quests will take you deep into the heart of the Stellar Syndicate, where the four Parsa siblings are locked in a bitter struggle over the inheritance of their family’s vast commercial empire.
Kian Parsa, the late patriarch of the Parsa family, built a corporate empire spanning three star systems. Following his death, his legacy was split into four companies, each controlled by one of his children: Afi Parsa, the eldest, who considers himself the rightful heir and the natural leader of the family; Laleh Parsa, who controls the corporate client base; Arman Parsa, who oversees the empire's manufacturing sector; and Darya Parsa who holds the purse strings, managing the corporation's funds.
On the surface, the siblings maintain an alliance to keep the mega-corporation running. Behind closed doors, however, it’s a ruthless power struggle, with each heir harboring hidden agendas to seize total control of the empire.
The only thing stopping them from going to all-out corporate war is a strict fail-safe enacted by their father before his death: his final will can only be unsealed if all four heirs agree unanimously to do so. For now, the contents of the will remain a mystery...
