I'm posting a few fixes and updates today. The biggest change is that you can now update the appearance of hair styles and colors in-game. Additionally, as I posted in March, the price of the game is being increased from $19,99 to $24.99 today.
Here are the notes:
UPDATED - Game resource files. This makes for a large download for this patch
ADDED - You can now change crew hair, hair color and body type to approximate custom and default portraits. There are two ways to do this.
FROM THE INVENTORY
Select a crew member and left-click the portrait in the upper right of the screen. The customization window will be displayed.
Toggle through the hair styles, hair colors and body types and then apply.
Exit the inventory and hair and hair color options are applied.
IN GROUND LOCATIONS
[HUMAN] Press F7 to toggle through available hair styles.
[HUMAN] Press F8 to toggle through available hair colors for the current hair style.
A few things about this:
-Changing the body type to match your crew member can only be done from inventory and requires either a save and reload of that save, or transitioning between ground areas to see the changes.
-Kchor have 3 body types that change their hair style. They do not have options to change hair style or color.
-Fabricants do not have hair, or skin for that matter. You can change the color of their bio-suit.
-Added a label to portrait selection letting player know that a portrait is being loaded from the PlayerPortraits folder.
UPDATED - F7 and F8 are no longer mappable as custom keys. Key mapping has been reset to default and you will need to update your bindings after this patch.
UPDATED - When in a star system, if a station or planetary location has purchased cargo storage or contains purchased trade-net cargo, the icon next to the location name in the upper left system object list will display a cargo icon. This applies to orbital stations and non-hostile planetary base stations.
UPDATED - When equipping ship components that do not fit your ship, error message updated to indicate that the equipment does not fit this ship.
UPDATED - Aznari scanner missions. Reduced the number of Aznari ruin areas needed to complete scanner missions. Set progress per area to a fixed value.
UPDATED - The "Press "Q" to re-center camera" UI element is now disabled when tutorials are disabled in the options menu.
UPDATED - Slightly increased the chance for schematic drops from loot objects.
Some changes to weapon damage/EXP. Some of these changes will not be completely visible until a new weapon is looted or crafted. Most of these changes are just "nudges" in various directions.
UPDATED - 2H BLUNT, 2H SLASH, 2H PIERCE - Reduced base damage. Reduced damage calculation.
UPDATED - PISTOLS AND SMG'S - Increased base damage.
UPDATED - FISTS (PUGILISM) - Increased base damage.
FIXED - In languages other than English, completing the smuggling mission with Rodger Crayson did not unlock smuggling and could lock game progression through the main story in some cases.
FIXED - In legacy saves (very old saves, a mission trigger was not set that could cause Jensen dialog on Achmedius Trade port to trigger, generating errors.
FIXED - Captain Fisher spam if save and reload and then click panel in Vats after the captain is dead. Added a spam filter to avoid multiple spammed messages to game log.
FIXED - You cannot mark Aznari Shards/Stones/Relics for sale in inventory or stash. You can
