The latest update for the Stellar Breach demo is now live!
This is a massive patch that significantly deepens the progression systems, introduces devastating new firepower, and adds entirely new hazards to survive. Because of how much has changed under the hood, I want to address an important technical note right out of the gate:
⚠️ Important Note Regarding Save Data Due to the complete overhaul of the passive upgrade systems a reset of the save format for the demo was required. Unfortunately, this means your previous progress has been reset. I know losing a save always stings, but these structural changes were absolutely essential to support the new features below and ensure the game feels vastly more rewarding to play.

⚙️ Completely Revamped Progression & UI
The way your ship gets stronger has been completely re-engineered from the ground up to give you more meaningful choices and better feedback.
- Expressive Level-Up UIThe new UI is much more expressive, clearly communicating exactly what you're equipping and how it impacts your build.
- End-of-Level BreakdownEver wonder exactly how much you hauled out of a chaotic run? The brand-new level-end screen now gives you a comprehensive breakdown of every resource you accumulated during the mission.
- Hangar & Ship Passive OverhaulThe passive upgrade tree has been completely overhauled. You'll find brand-new permanent Hangar upgrades to invest your hard-earned resources into, alongside a reworked system for in-run passive ship upgrades that offer significantly more build variety.
💥 The Arsenal: New Weapons & Synergies
Your ship just got a lot more lethal.
New Weapon - The Impactor: Delivering exactly what it says on the tin, the Impactor is a heavy-hitting addition to your arsenal designed to punch massive holes through enemy formations.
3 Brand New Weapon Synergies: There are now three hidden synergy combinations that create exponentially more powerful versions of base weapons.
⚠️ Environmental Hazards & New Threats
The levels are getting more dangerous, and the first level has a deadly new surprise waiting for you.
- The Magnet Hazard (Level 1)You'll need to watch your positioning. Massive industrial magnets have been introduced to the first level. When activated, it creates high-velocity damage zones where environmental scrap is violently pulled across the screen.
- New Enemy TypesTo test your new upgrades, several new enemy variants have been deployed into the field. You'll need to adapt your tactics to survive their new attack patterns.
