changedIntroductionHi, I’m the developer of Titan Survival, a survival roguelike inspired by games like Armored Core, Ace Combat, and Vampire Survivors, but it leans more toward the first two. It shares the gameplay format of survival roguelikes of short game sessions, meta progression, and weapon synergies of games in the genre but with a heavy emphasis on fast-paced action, there is no auto-shoot or auto-aim.
changedGameplayOne of the main features of the combat is the mech-enhanced reflexes, when the player stops doing important actions and only the basic flying movement, the time slows down from 40% to 80% depending on the selected mech, allowing the player to make “faster” decisions during combat.
changedControlsThe player has his basic flying movement, boost, quickboost, and overboost as movement options and two weapons, the main and special weapons.
changedUpgradesEach mech, main weapon, and special weapon will have its own unique upgrades with the objective of having more unique builds in each playthrough.
changedMaps and difficulty settingsSo far there is only one map done, the city defense map, I plan to have three maps in the full release, the idea is to have different support upgrades in each map, like cruise missiles, anti-air guns, and others. Each map will have three difficulty settings each one with its dynamic weather to reflect the selected difficulty and progress of the playthrough, like from midnight to dawn, or from clear skies to storms.
addedDevelopment and plans for releaseI plan to make a closed beta soon to find and correct unexpected bugs, then an open demo for everyone to download from Steam, and once there is enough initial content release as early access with a reduced price to add more mechs, weapons, and maps.

Introduction

Hi, I’m the developer of Titan Survival, a survival roguelike inspired by games like Armored Core, Ace Combat, and Vampire Survivors, but it leans more toward the first two. It shares the gameplay format of survival roguelikes of short game sessions, meta progression, and weapon synergies of games in the genre but with a heavy emphasis on fast-paced action, there is no auto-shoot or auto-aim.

Gameplay

One of the main features of the combat is the mech-enhanced reflexes, when the player stops doing important actions and only the basic flying movement, the time slows down from 40% to 80% depending on the selected mech, allowing the player to make “faster” decisions during combat.

Controls

The player has his basic flying movement, boost, quickboost, and overboost as movement options and two weapons, the main and special weapons.

Upgrades

Each mech, main weapon, and special weapon will have its own unique upgrades with the objective of having more unique builds in each playthrough.

Maps and difficulty settings

So far there is only one map done, the city defense map, I plan to have three maps in the full release, the idea is to have different support upgrades in each map, like cruise missiles, anti-air guns, and others. Each map will have three difficulty settings each one with its dynamic weather to reflect the selected difficulty and progress of the playthrough, like from midnight to dawn, or from clear skies to storms.

Development and plans for release

I plan to make a closed beta soon to find and correct unexpected bugs, then an open demo for everyone to download from Steam, and once there is enough initial content release as early access with a reduced price to add more mechs, weapons, and maps.

These are the general features and planned roadmap but there is nothing set in stone, thanks for reading!
