New features:

  • Overhaul to the elections tab.

  • Added cabinet member reports when you hold a executive office. These happen yearly.

  • Removed vote alerts for a action center in the dashboard instead and a general message notification in the same area to save clutter. The option to choose which messages you see is still there in the settings. It now uses the new system.

  • Judicial appointments and judicial retirements.

  • Overhauled of the view politician modal UI.

  • You can now upload images for the political party logo.

  • Vice President now generates and is picked by who wins the presidential primary for their respective party.

  • Budget bill proposals are now in the game. The player may have to do a mandatory budget bill if they hold executive office.

  • Challenges now exist when a player holds office and grants them approval rating increases and more political points.

  • Improved UI for the bill details modal and bill detail cards in legislation tab.

  • Custom event editor overhaul to make editing of events easier.

  • UI overhaul of bill authoring to give choices to the player instead of typing for many laws.

  • Added politician personality traits.

  • My office tab UI changes.

  • Political party creator and politician creator UI changes.

Incomplete features:

  • Custom laws are not fully complete yet, judicial appointments and retirements may still be a bit buggy and incomplete.

  • The player can also now pick a vice president.

  • Debates and other new screens for non voting sessions. Although this is in an early implementation.

Technical Changes:

  • Refactors of many files to clean up the code base.

  • Major refactor to many files for memory reasons to reduce memory overhead even further.

Bug Fixes:

  • Canada does not have tooltips, this has been fixed.

  • Washington D.C elections for anything other than the city has been removed.

  • Fixed French elections and offices from just having national assembly, municipal council and president.

  • Fixed Italian elections from not having a city council for some reason.

  • Tooltips in the mock election in the main menu now correctly show the data.

  • Fixed many un-styled sections of the UI.

  • Fixed population from not updating UI wise.

  • Fixed some yearly things not updating properly like population and education metrics. This was because the yearly updater was detecting the wrong start month.

  • Fixed a critical bug where the election scheduler had broken so that no new elections would be generated after the first initial ones at least for the United States.

  • Fixed bugs with new features introduced to the game.

  • Many other bug fixes that I didn't really write down.
