addedKeep in mind that this first version of the Open Beta is by no means completed . More maps, units, battle groups and DLC support will be added gradually over the next months. Occasional technical issues may also be experienced, but please don’t let that stop you from enlisting - we’ll stomp those Bugs together!
addedThis Open Beta also contains a major update of the Kwalasha campaign , adding many new units and the materiel resource first introduced in the Urban Onslaught DLC. These updates ensure gameplay remains consistent with the changes and additions being made for Territory Mode.
addedTerritory Mode is a new game mode specifically designed for replayability. A range of new maps has been created specifically for this game mode, in which Federation and Arachnid forces battle it out over Territory Points. These points reward the player with the necessary resources required to purchase units, replace casualties and invest in new technologies.

Keep in mind that this first version of the Open Beta is by no means completed. More maps, units, battle groups and DLC support will be added gradually over the next months. Occasional technical issues may also be experienced, but please don’t let that stop you from enlisting - we’ll stomp those Bugs together!

Take the following steps to play the Open Beta

  • Right click on “Starship Troopers: Terran Command” in your Steam Library

  • Click on Properties

  • Click on Betas

  • CosmeticClick on drop-down menu and select "BetaOpen Beta"

  • Steam should now automatically update the game

  • Launch the game to play the Open Beta version
