Starpuffs changes
We're happy to announce our first update to the Starpuffs Demo! It's a moderately small update with some quality-of-life improvements and tiny bugfixes. Also, our official Discord server is now live and waiting for you to jump in!
You can access the Discord server here.
QoL Improvements
Changed the name of Extras in the Options menu to Accessibility. We thought this was a more appropriate name.
Added a level timer that goes off right after you make your first move in a level.
Added an indicator to the Level Select Screen that shows your best time for each level and your best time total.
Added a Display Timer option that can be toggled in the Accessibility menu. Note that this turns off the best time and total time indicators as well. However, your best times will still be recorded and saved in the background should you decide to turn it back on again.
Added visual movement indicators on the player to show which cloud moves in what direction more clearly.
Added a button in the Accessibility menu to toggle the movement indicators on and off. Turning off the arrows replaces them with a dashed circle around specific clouds to help distinguish between them, and vice versa.
Added a button in the main menu that directs the user to the official Starpuffs Discord Server.
Bugfixes
Fixed a bug where undoing a move sometimes caused the player to drop their stars when they shouldn't have.
Fixed a bug that causes multiple sound effects to play all at once when opening the Accessibility menu.
