changedHey Starium explorers!Controller support : Seamless switching between keyboard and controller in single-player. Menus and gameplay now feel smoother with a controller.
addedHey Starium explorers!Weapons Lawless Rifle : New dash-forward bayonet attack when standing still. Long Shot : Shoots rapidly while moving. Fires bouncing bullets when standing still. Shadow SMG : Grants 3 levels of Swiftness and Darkness passives (up from 2). Equipping two now lets you stack up to 6 levels . Added Masterwork/Shiny versions of the Long Shot Rifle, GMancer Rifle, and Shadow SMG .

We’ve just released our first patch in early access, bringing new features, balance tweaks, and bug fixes to improve your gameplay experience. Here’s what’s new:

  • Local Co-op: You can now play with up to 4 players!

  • Controller support: Seamless switching between keyboard and controller in single-player. Menus and gameplay now feel smoother with a controller.

  • Weapons

    • Lawless RifleNew dash-forward bayonet attack when standing still.
    • Long Shot:

      • Shoots rapidly while moving.

      • Fires bouncing bullets when standing still.

    • Shadow SMG: Grants 3 levels of Swiftness and Darkness passives (up from 2). Equipping two now lets you stack up to 6 levels.

    • Added Masterwork/Shiny versions of the Long Shot Rifle, GMancer Rifle, and Shadow SMG.

  • Armor

    • Outlaw Pants:

  • Meat quest renamed to Infinite Growth.

  • Added “Add Players” and “Remove Players” buttons in character creation.

    • Player 1 can now add/remove players anytime during the game.

Shatter Projectile:

  • Damage per projectile reduced: 115 → 100.

  • Cold stacks reduced: 30 → 8.

  • New XP sound effect.

  • New music added to the Yumgrow Meat Factory.

  • Demon Shot now deals the intended stealth damage.

  • Fixed excessive screenshake in co-op.

  • Fixed co-op teleporting players to the wrong location.

  • Fixed Sorcery Work Experience not allowing special dashes.

This patch is all about polishing the Starium experience and preparing for more exciting content ahead. Thank you for all your feedback, it helps us improve every update!
