This hotfix addresses the issue where enemy difficulty was capping out mid-run because the scaling curves didn't extend far enough, along with a batch of gamepad improvements, skill fixes, and content polish.
Balance Changes
Enemy scaling curves extended to Threat 3000.
Damage and speed were capped at Threat 20 (reached around map 6–9 on Normal), and health was capped at Threat 100 (hit within the first few maps of Endless). Beyond those caps, enemies stopped scaling in threat and became pure sponges, with health-to-damage ratios reaching 30:1 at Threat 100.
New curves extend all three attributes to Threat 1000, keeping the sponge index between 3:1 and 9:1 throughout.
Six plateau windows have been added at Threat 5–8, 16–22, 35–45, 75–90, 150–180, and 300–350, where scaling briefly pauses, giving players room to feel their upgrades before pressure resumes.
All existing values below the old caps are unchanged.
Salvage Rights nerfed. The skill was generating far too many crates. It now only triggers on Tier 4+ drops and has a 50% lower proc chance.
Shop Balance: Shops now have a limited stock of weapons and augments per visit. Refreshing the shop will not offer more once the limit is reached. Enhancement prices now scale with rarity, with higher-tier enhancements costing more.
UI & Quality of Life
Gamepad navigation to Ship Overview added from the Pause Menu.
Ship Overview now appears on the Run Summary Screen. Players can review their full loadout at the end of a run.
Gamepad confirm input standardized across all menus. Gamepad 'Down' now confirms on all screens from the Main Menu through Gameplay, using the UI Select input action consistently. Gameplay-spawned shops are also fixed.
Fixes
Fixed Smart Rounds not functioning correctly.
Fixed an issue where entering Pause while placing a teleport would permanently lock the player in placement mode, preventing teleporting.
Data Harvest now correctly scales with each skill point invested. Previously, only the first point had any effect.
Skill tooltip no longer shows a "0% increase" next-level stat line on maxed skills. The next-level line is now hidden at max rank.
Gamepad input prompt now appears correctly on the Purchase Skills tooltip.
Fixed player's score not carrying over correctly into Endless mode.
Updated Drive Key border for better legibility.
Fixed Death Mark Tether augment not triggering correctly.
Mine explosions have been replaced. The previous effect may have been causing issues and didn't fit the game's visual style.
Fixed gamepad reroll not consuming charges. Using the reroll on the gamepad refreshed the reward options but never decremented the reroll attribute.
