Starfighter Origins Remastered changes
Hi fellow starfighters, a new update is now available which adds hotas support and a host of other improvements to the game.
Building on the remastered version of the game which was released last year and brought many new features and improvements to the game and gameplay, the new update adds hotas support and a host of other improvements.
Changes since the last update :
Added hotas support
Native for the Thrustmaster Hotas X and all other Hotas can be set up in the config files.
Improved Visuals And VFX
The game has had a big visual make-over with improved graphics and visual effects throughout the game.
Improved Drii Ships
The Drii ships have been improved and retextured. The War cruiser and warship have changed and the spector textures and UVs have been fixed up.
Improved Sound FX
Many sound effects have been improved for the CDF ships which makes the game more atmospheric.
Gameplay improvements
A lot of improvements all-around to gameplay and balance in the Instant action skirmish maps for difficulty.
AI improvements
A number of improvements to the AI make the gameplay much better and offer a much better challenge than before. All races have has some improvements and re-balancing.
Updated CDF Database
The CDF database has been updated to include the new models for the Drii.
Lots more improvements and fixes have been carried out along with numerous typos fixed up.
For all-over Hotas, please help others by sharing suggested setups in the steam community. It is good to use test flights to try out control setups. Thanks guys!
