Star Wrath changes
Wanderers, we continue to develop the modifier system and are ready to present update 0.5.0, “Law of the sword.”
After a large trade caravan was destroyed and the control over the infrastructure of Antaeus’ station was partially lost, significant amounts of unevacuated material and informational assets are still in the sector.
Given the impossibility of restoring centralized control and evacuating valuable cargo, one of the corporations involved in the sector’s development initiated an unofficial experimental program for the distribution of emergency resources under conditions of limited security.
The “Law of the sword” program is structured as a closed field test and has no official status. Within its framework, the sector is treated as a zone of equal contenders, where the right to any discovered assets is granted only to those who manage to successfully evacuate the cargo beyond the zone’s boundaries.
All actions involving the interception, seizure, and destruction of other participants’ assets are not subject to review and do not affect the final outcome of the trial. Participants are permitted any interaction within the zone, including combat engagements, as the environment simulates competition for limited resources.
New modifier “Law of the sword”
The “Antaeus’ station” location received a new modifier, “Law of the sword.”
While this modifier is active, new objects appear in the location:
Supply containers with additional resources.
Encrypted blocks containing schematics for modules and blocks.
To get the contents of an encrypted block, you will need to open it in the Workshop using a decryption key. You can get the key if you successfully evacuate through the unstable Gate.
Two types of evacuation are available at the location:
Unstable Gate becomes available some time after the battle begins. Evacuating through it preserves all items in the cargo hold and grants a decryption key. The Gate deactivates if other Wanderers are nearby.
Emergency Gate activates at the end of the battle. Evacuating through it saves the ship but results in the loss of all items in the cargo hold.
Additionally, the “Law of the sword” modifier does not punish destroying other Wanderers.
