fixedWe're excited to keep working through the backlog of art, balance improvements, bug fixes and minor improvements with Star Traders: Frontiers. Another update has arrived - this one with a new background for molten worlds, improvements by community request to how sorting goes when looking at ships in new game, a list of new things that enemy ship builder can access, tweaks to drop rates for rare gear, fixed typos and some ship component pricing corrections.
addedOur Save Game Policy and UpdatesWe are now including our saved game policy in all game updates so our commitment (to you!) is clear for all new and veteran players alike. Here goes -
addedOur Save Game Policy and UpdatesNo saved game will ever be invalidated by an update. All new content and features will be added immediately to all saved games (with the reasonable exception of new game options). You never have to restart your save if you don't want to. This is a studio commitment that we have made and kept for many years and games. We stand by it. So do not stress about updates to your favorite space RPG or any game made by Trese Brothers.
addedOur new turn-based tactics RPG!Cyber Knights: Flashpoint, our stealth & squad tactics heist RPG, launch back in June 2025 and now is marching to Update #50 as we are now working on its ambitious post-launch expansion roadmap. We've already added 2 new classes (Warmachine, Wireghost), 8 new storylines and 7 new maps to expand the game's depth and endless replay. If you're looking for a story rich, squad-based RPG, take a minute to follow, wishlist or try Cyber Knights!

New Art - Molten World

With each update, we are now working diligently to finalize and push any final pieces of art that were made for Star Traders: Frontiers over its long life into the game. There are a few more Contact faces, landing zone art boards and even outfits still to come. With Update #374, we added a new beautiful piece for wild molten worlds.

New Game Ship List Sorting

The sorting of ships in the game new screen has been improved. Previously they were not sorted very cleanly and the ships were a bit out of order - based on a confusing mismash of when you might buy them in the game, unlocks and price.

Enemy Ship Builder Improves Access

With Update #374, we've gone back over the latest additions to the game and pushed those that are ready into the hands of the enemy ship builder. This includes allowing enemy captains access to the Raptor Strikecarrier as one of its hulls, and allowing them to improve their boarding approaches with the Dagger Prow and Cloaked Boarding Assault component.

We've also tweaked the interest from the enemy ship builder in including cloaking components in their ships to better match the realistic rates we are seeing from player captains.

Loot Rate Drops
