Engine Changes (unity 4 to Unity 5)

  • Massive Physics upgrade (Performance and quality) Nvidia PhysX Updated from 2 to 3. Lighting, Reflections, and Rendering Quality has improved significantly. General Performance Increase (Higher Frame Rate)

General Changes:

  1. Occlusion Rebaked (faster frame rate)

  2. Ladder Climbing Recoded

  3. General Code efficiencies have increased performance and minimized bugs.

  4. Sky and Dynamic Time of Day systems are updated and improved.

  5. Lagoon Tutorial Sequence has been thoroughly debugged.

  6. Ceres Level has been added to Test Maps.

  7. Many Shaders and Materials have been updated and improved.

  8. The Music Playlist has been modified.

  9. Room Selection Screen Menus have been improved.

  10. Pause Menu UI has been improved.

  11. Artemis (Hovercraft Vehicle) has been added.

  12. Starting Care Package has more objects.

  13. Shift Key Makes Lander Lower Faster

  14. Stun Gun (Creative Mode Only “/creative” in chat)

  15. Middle Mouse Button(mappable) Rotated character towards camera.

Networking/Multiplayer Changes:

  1. Creating and Joining Rooms has been debugged and should work smoothly and consistently now.

Coming Very Soon (Next Build)

  • Star Raiders - they *may* not be "bad" guys. ;) Just different.

  • Permanent Multi-Building Structure on Every Map in Campaign Mode = SUPER HAB

  • Permanent Joinable Mars Level - Mars One
