Hi all! Happy holiday season! We are still cooking up some stuff that should be ready in the new year, but in the meantime, we wanted to get out a small update. You may have heard Unity had a security vulnerability. This update includes a patch for that vulnerability (we updated to the new unity version that does not have that vulnerability in it). So if you were worried about that, this should ease your mind. Below are some more changes:
Bugs
Unity security vulnerability patched out
Fixed comic scaling for all resolutions
Fixed credits not scrolling properly
Fixed scrolling in rank results not functioning properly
Fixed some typos across tutorials and menus
Fixed keyboard controls glyphs not displaying properly
Features
Made falling into a jet stream activate flying mode
Changed VSync and frame limiter options to dropdowns
Updated tree colliders to not be as dumb
Changed around the keyboard controls to be a bit more intuitive
Optimization
Heavily optimized graphics by dithering and culling based on distance (Lower graphics settings will lower draw distance and increase performance further)
Optimized a new outline shader, improving performance
Framerate is a more stable 60 FPS now, even on larger levels
