Previously you could play online multiplayer with the Demo of Star Drift Evolution, but you were only paired with players who also played the demo version. With Update 1.1.

There are a few limitations for room options, when a player who owns the Demo hosts a game (limited track and car mode choices). But when connecting to a game hosted by a player who owns the full game, Demo players can enjoy all content the game has to offer!

This also means that if you want to play online multiplayer with your friends with all content enabled, only one of you needs to own the full game.
