OTS launch — Assault on the Reichstag
In this article, we’ll explain what OTS is, how to test the Assault on the Reichstag event, and where to report any issues you encounter.
What is OTS?
OTS stands for Open Test Server. It gives access to early versions of major updates. Your role is to share feedback and help us identify and fix issues before final release.
Please note that equipment from the main server will not be synchronised on this OTS — don’t be surprised if your gear or even your main character is missing.
Progress does not transfer between servers, and everything you do with items on OTS stays on OTS.
Test Participants
Access to OTS is granted randomly to all players except newcomers.
How do I know if I’ve been invited?
If you’re using the launcher, a separate server will appear for download: “STALCRAFT OTS”.
If you’re playing via Steam, check in-game mail. You should receive a message titled “OTS invitation” from “System”, sent to your most recently active character.
If there’s no such message, you don’t have access to testing.
Schedule
OTS starts on 4 May 2026 at [time] and runs until 5 May 2026, [time].
Please note: this is a test server. It may be stopped or restarted at any time to apply changes.
What are we looking for?
Right now, we’re interested in your feedback on Assault on the Reichstag — how it feels to play, how the pacing works, and whether the balance holds up.
We’re counting on your input, and you can share it through the in-game survey available on OTS and on our official Discord server in a feedback discussion [link].
We also ask for a bit of understanding when it comes to rough edges — we’ll be actively monitoring and supporting the server throughout the test.
How do I access OTS?
OTS will be available to players in RU and EU regions. Steam login remains supported.
If you’re using the launcher and have access, the server will automatically appear in your download list.
To join via Steam, you’ll need to opt into the available beta version in settings.
Important! On Steam, the beta is visible to everyone — even players who were not selected for testing. Please make sure you’ve received the in-game invitation before downloading.
Otherwise, you may download the client but won’t be able to participate.
To avoid this, we recommend using EXBO Launcher to access the test server, even if you usually play via Steam. Detailed instructions are available here.
How do I join Assault on the Reichstag on OTS?
Log in to any character, press ESC, open the “Assault on the Reichstag” tab, and click “Join Game”.
