I'm posting this with a few days of delay due to all the early access release madness. If you've been playing, you probably already saw most of what I'll mention here.

If you've been playing, you probably already saw most of what I'll mention here.

It's been a crazy weekend but fortunately everything is going well!

1) New Boss Relics:

  • Anchor: +3 Max Stability to your Hero

  • Ring of Corruption: Increase experience gain from combat by 1% per Corruption

  • Magic Scissors: Upgrading costs 0 AP for all of your units

2) New Common Relics

  • Spyglass: Increasy visibility on stage selection by 1

  • White Flag: Reduce threat level of all stages by 5

  • Demon Ring: +3 Starting Momentum to all Demons

  • Gear: +2 Free Upgrades each combat

  • Corrupted Chest: Gain extra Gold each combat equal to Corruption

  • Scroll of Healing: +30 Healing Strength to your Hero

  • Power Boots: +1 Movement to your Hero

  • Nails: +1 Max Specialization Upgrades to all your Minions

3) New environment: Hellfire

For Abyss region.

All units get 1 stack of Bloodlust for starting or ending a turn in lower ground.

All units except Demons additionaly take 10 damage.

4) Difficulty Selection

Default difficulty is now slightly lower than before.

Each time you win a run, you'll be able to increase difficulty by +1, up to infinity.

The average threat level of each stage is increased by 2 multiplied for the current region number. So the difference may be subtle at first but will scale rapidly.

You will also grow your Squad faster, since both exp and gold gains are scaled with threat level (but not enough to cancel out the increase in difficulty).

Bosses also get +10 base HP per difficulty level.

Don't let Corruption get too high or you'll struggle with this!

5) Combat Balancing

  • Snake, Wolf and Spiderling do not block sight anymore.

  • Accuracy and Evasion penalty from Frost now scales with each stack

  • 100% displace chance against obstacles (except unmovable, I also added the "Unmovable" classification in the UI frame)

  • Lowered HP for most obstacles

  • Goblin Priest: Higher attack base damage, lower Holy Punch damage

  • Goblin Pyromancer: Higher attack base damage

And plenty of minor issues fixed.
