Region Selection

You can now choose which Region to enter. Each Region has unique environments, global effects and props. Once you enter a Region you'll have to win 4 normal stages and 1 Boss fight to clear it, before selecting the next Region.

At first you can only access Enchanted Forest and Permafrost Peaks. The other ones need to be Unlocked first (once unlocked, they remain unlocked for future runs).

Each Region has 8 randomly selected Minions, this are both the Minions that you will fight, and that you'll be able to recruit while in this Region.

Each Region has a randomly assigned Boss. Boss types can never be repeated.

You need to clear at least 3 Regions to unlock the Final Region. You can clear more Regions if you want to get even stronger (or if you just want to play longer), but the enemies in the Final Region get stronger over time as well. The Final Boss type depends on the Region Bosses you slayed, and the order in which you slayed them. If you win against the Final Boss, you won the run and you unlock a higher difficulty setting for future runs.

You can spend a re-roll to refresh everything, but this will not change the Bosses you already defeated.

New Environments

Energy Wisps: +1 Momentum for starting a turn on this tile. Has a nice visual effect that reacts to nearby units

GUI Improvements

Improved targeting for skills with area of effect

General Runs started/won before selecting game mode:

Added sound and visual feedback for all buttons and UI elements, both in combat and lobby.

Improvements to Combat
