What changed
- Gameplay
Hi all, Its been a while since I updated the game and due to a number of circumstances I could not work on it as much as I wanted to. However, I did spend some time looking at and experimenting with a bunch of the possible features I mentioned in previous news posts. The final update will implement the free hit mechanism, which is basically a giant floating target you have to try to hit. Hit it, and your runs are free for that delivery :) After that I will tweak and adjust minor bugs or playability issues. The games planned final release is sometime just before the ashes start in late November. The features at final release time will be:
- Single or local multiplayer modes
- 3 types of matches
- 5, 10 or 20 over match.
- 3 difficulty levels.
- HTC Vive/Oculus compatible.
- Adjustable batting line and length.
- Batting sweet spot.
- AI fielders that adjust to your big shots.
- Batters get weaker further down the order.
Adjustable line, length and speed for the bowler player in local multiplayer. - Adjustable fielders in local multiplayer - Crowd noise and reactions to shots, wickets and other moments. - Scoreboards both in game and for the desktop with detailed batter information. - Multiple views for Batter and bowler. - Action replays - Free hit feature - hit the giant target. Cheers
