We just hit 7,000 wishlists! Just dropping by to say a massive thank you to every single one of you for trusting us and supporting Spooky Tales. ːsteamhearteyesː
We've noticed that some of you are a bit confused about how the gameplay actually works. While the game is heavily narrative-focused, it’s not exactly a walking simulator. Each of the 4 tales will feature unique mechanics and gameplay-focused moments. For example, in the first story, "The Abyss-Borne", you'll play as Garreth, navigating the ocean and engaging in deep-sea fishing sections where you can catch various fish with a harpoon. Across the different stories, you can also expect to run into mini-games, puzzles, and even boss fights! (Just keep in mind that some tales will be much more dialogue-heavy compared to others).
So, what exactly is Spooky Tales? We want you to feel like you're on a horror, comedy, and drama adventure. It’s a trip through classic horror tropes, where you can really get immersed in the stories and experience the specific kind of fun that only good, spooky tales can bring.
Back to working on the game now, but seeing this kind of support means a lot.
