Greetings all. It's been a few weeks since the last blog update. I have been working on the game, no need to worry :)

So what have I got so far? Well, I managed to get around 200 characters moving around collecting resource balls and then that's where the game began to lag a lot. I think the lag had to do with the hundreds of balls rolling around, plus 200 characters processing their AI brains. So, I am in the process of revamping the resource collection and AI thought processes. No more balls for now. Resource collection is going to be a simpler and more commonly used method of the character walking to a building and obtaining the resources, rather than chasing around a resource ball rolling down a hill. As you can see from the screenshot, a very big and ugly food building/farm is built by the character at a suitable location, and that is where the character will go to collect food. The same will go for water, gold, etc.

There's some other stuff that I have put in that I'm not mentioning yet to keep the anticipation going, because who doesn't love a bit of that?
