Splash Divers changes
Hello Divers!
We’re excited to announce that Splash Divers is officially participating in Steam Ocean Fest! To celebrate the event, we’ve released a brand new updated demo for everyone to try.
If you haven’t explored the underwater world of Splash Divers yet, now’s the perfect time to dive in! We’ve made a number of improvements and additions since the last version of the game, and we’re excited to finally share them with you.
Here’s a look at what’s new in the latest build!
A Major Visual Upgrade ✨
The ocean has received a big visual refresh!
We’ve improved the lighting and overall visual quality to make the underwater world feel brighter, more vibrant, and more alive than before. Whether you're exploring coral reefs or swimming through open waters, the sea now feels more atmospheric and beautiful to dive into.
We’ve also redesigned the user interface with a completely new UI to make navigation cleaner and more comfortable during gameplay.
New Feature: Character Profiles 📖
You can now access a brand new Character Profile system!
At any time during the game, you’ll be able to view information and details about each diver you meet throughout your journey. Learn more about their personalities, backgrounds, and the people accompanying you beneath the waves.
Improved Dialogue & Quest Guidance 💬
We’ve also improved the quest flow and dialogue experience.
New branching dialogue options have been added, allowing you to choose how conversations progress based on your own preferences. These additions help make interactions feel more personal while improving the overall pacing of the adventure.
New CG Scenes Added 🎬
Two brand new CG scenes have been added to the game!
After completing your journey, you’ll now be able to see a new ending sequence featuring the divers surfacing together and returning home after their adventure.
We hope these new scenes help make the ending feel even warmer and more memorable.
Improved Controller Support 🎮
We’ve adjusted and improved the controller button layout to make gameplay feel smoother and more comfortable while diving.
Whether you prefer keyboard controls or a controller, the experience should now feel much more intuitive.
Coming Soon 👀
We’re also continuing to work on future updates!
One feature currently in development is a new underwater bubble mechanic. By swimming through bubbles created by coral, players will be able to extend their swimming time and stay underwater longer during exploration.
More details will be shared in the future!
