Spitfire - Moonpie’s Mission Demo 1.03 Update
Thank you for all the feedback you've given me on Twitch (rennsemmel81) to help with the development. :)
Once again, I've gathered your suggestions and implemented the most important points directly into the game. While many of these points mainly concern the main game, some have made their way into the demo as well.
These changes and the further development of the game are quite extensive, which would inevitably lead to significant spoilers. Therefore, I'll refrain from using images and will summarize the main points briefly. :)
There’s a new crosshair equipped with a heart in the center, which shows the player how much health they have left. A dynamic energy indicator shows how many shots remain in the magazine and automatically refills once the magazine is emptied.
Two new companions have been added:
One will help you move faster, and the other will surely make your life more difficult. :D Another important feature is the skill and level reset function: In order to unlock certain achievements, you need to be able to reset your skills to 0 after completing the game.
Another feature involves the companions themselves: Once a companion is selected, it will be confirmed with a small green checkmark, making it clearer for the player that this companion is joining the journey.
There are many more details that have been improved, but I don’t want to spoil too much here. Various bugs have also been fixed, such as the sunflower enemies in the first level that would interrupt their animation when hit. They now continue their animation even when they take damage. Several sound, animation, and design bugs have been addressed as well.
I will of course continue working on the main game and transfer these changes to the demo. It’s especially important to me to keep working closely with you all to create a great gaming experience.
That’s why I’ll also be including the wonderful community in the credits – of course, only with your consent and at your request.
Best regards, rennsemmel81
