From writing the first line of code to building the final release, the entire programming side of the game happened on a Linux machine. (Our illustrator worked on Windows 10 with Photoshop — we won't hold it against her. 🎨) More importantly, a Steam Deck was present throughout the entire development process. Not as an afterthought — as an actual development and QA tool. A huge portion of our quality assurance was done directly on the device, checking that every scene, every interaction, and every transition felt right on that screen.
