I set out with the intention of creating an arena brawler that would be fun to play solo or with friends, both casually or competitively. Inspired by some of my favorite games and mods from over the years, I wanted to bring more modern controls and action combat to some classic concepts while also focusing on free-for-all matches and round-based build drafting instead of fixed champions and nonstop team fights.

Over the past 12 months Spellfall has gone from prototype into a fully playable multiplayer game.

One Year of Progress

The gameplay loop was set early on with mages fighting on a collapsing magical platform. Since then, nearly every single feature has been expanded or refined.
