The leaves are falling and the runners are speeding!

Congrats to Team Speed on winning our first (Un)Civil War Crew Battle!

Team Running fought hard, but after losing their captain Lacks, couldn’t recover. Huge thanks to Myddo, Blackomodo (killer match vs. Nizkit!), Dizzy, Xenos, Some Chump, Metzg4r, Asarnil, Arthyy_, and CrashTReborn.

Everyone was amazing, so all players will receive their team badges in an upcoming update. This first event showed just how strong and supportive the SR community really is.

Submit your original map (edited within the last 30 days) by Halloween: Submission Link.

Maps will be sanity-checked, then featured in a showcase stream/video. Judges will score on theme (25), popularity (25), and quality (50).

Promotion begins Nov 1. Final public vote happens during The Lord of the Runs: Stuffed Edition (Sat after Thanksgiving). Winners announced Dec 6, with the chosen map(s) added by Christmas at Cosmo’s Christmas Monthly on Dec 27.

Launching on Halloween, rank the map pool using our template. Post your link in the Steam discussion to enter a raffle for SR2 (or gift it if you already own it).

Least-favorite maps will be shortlisted and replaced by new contest winners.

Starting Monday, 09/29/25, a new solo time trial every week using Velo (official + curated maps). Don’t have Velo? Join our community server for help.

Week 1 map: CASINO! Try to beat the house for the top time.

Top runs will be showcased Thursdays at 7:30 PM PT on Thursday Night Running on our Twitch channel, hosted by SuncrackerTV.
