addedAs you may have noticed, SpeedRunners is now getting more design updates, including gameplay and map layouts. Last week we posted an update that made a few changes to classic maps, and introduced a mechanic that would slow you down if you slide mid-air. The idea behind the slowdown was to create a downside to constantly sliding mid-air. Unfortunately, this backfired as that mechanic is universally loved by the community. So we're reverting it back. Meanwhile, there's a big discussion going on regarding upcoming changes, like removing the bomb and adding handicaps. Initially we felt like this was the old boost jumping discussion from way back, but it did turn out to be a feature thousands of players love. So no more slowing down mid-air.
