We've just wrapped up Playtest #1, where folks could try out the first three levels of our Way of Fire character. It was great for us! We had 142 players over a few weeks, with an average playtime of 2 hours 20 minutes and a median playtime of 41 minutes for ~25 minutes of game content (as players came back again and again to climb the leaderboard!). Mega respect to all the battlers who made it into the top 20:

Very soon, we'll launch a different kind of playtest that leans into our favourite way to play deckbuilders: daily runs, or daily flights in our case! With Playtest #2, over the course of 2 weeks, we'll have a different daily flight with 3 modifiers applied every day, and persistent leaderboards that tracks each day. Can you make it to #1?!

Our modifiers all change the game in interesting ways, from making you stronger, to weird effects like Peacocking (which removes all Defence tiles and gives you several Peacock's Pride tiles), Witch House (all opponents start off immune to fire), and my personal favourite: Sleepless (where all bosses are wide awake from the start of each level!).
