addedDEV LOG #1 - ABOUT THE REMAKE OF THE BASE GAMESteam post imageHey everyone, Manin and Desky here. Since October of last year, we've been discussing a possible update where we would modify a large part of the game, essentially "remaking" the base version of Sparky, which, honestly, the vast majority of people who participated in the previous project approved of. So, I decided to do everything again, from scratch, but with many new things. WHAT WILL BE IN THIS NEW UPDATE? Here I will tell you what new features are CONFIRMED in this new update.

Over the past 15 days, we've made significant progress on version 2.0 (Remake) of Sparky: Hills of Death. We've managed to improve the level design and sound design. The main level, where you players will start the game, has been updated with new models to better reflect the 1980s/90s office environment, including plants, posters, Xerox machines, and now we have a new model of WIRED computers. FINALLY, we have our first development build for optimization testing. Here is a list of additions and modifications in level and sound design, as well as other categories: -New props added to the levels.

-Sound design added to the vents, speakers, clocks, etc.

-Change to the character's footstep sounds.

-Addition of the "CEO" room.

-Addition of new signs for player orientation.

-First development/test build for general optimization and game quality. (Yes, it's playable.)

-New objective UI. (Image below) Steam post image

-Implementation of a new character interactivity system along with a new locomotion system.

-New soundtracks will be added to the game. Now with our first development build, we can make basic calculations of what the possible system requirements will be to run the game at both minimum and maximum graphics settings. And that's all for today, folks! Honestly, in 15 days we've had so many improvements within the game that I unfortunately can't show you everything to avoid spoiling the surprise. But very soon, we'll have something that you'll DEFINITELY like. I guarantee it! :) DEV LOG#3 - ADDITION, COMPLETION AND POLISHING + CLOSED BETA TESTING Steam post image Good evening everyone, how are you all doing? After almost a month, here's the news from the third dev log about Sparky: Hills of Death. ==UI, SOUND DESIGN & VOICE ACTING== +New menu

+Exit confirmation button (Clicking "exit" will display another confirmation button that says "Are you sure?". Clicking it again will exit the game.)

+Addition of subtitles to the initial stage.

+Setting in the initial stage.

+Addition of Zac's initial lines (audio guide).

+Dubbing scripts being written. ==LEVEL DESIGN== +Creation and finalization of the initial maps (Metro and GSS).

+Addition of props throughout the maps. ==LORE== 48% complete. ==BETA TESTING== Regarding the closed beta testing, some people associated with Manin Studios received a beta version of the game for fixing collisions, textures, lighting, and optimization. Right now, we are optimizing, improving, and resizing some assets for better performance on lower-end machines.

Another detail I'll openly discuss here is the discontinuation of CIANIMATION FANDUBS' dubbing of Sparky, and that in the future, we will have the opening of DUBBING TESTS.

That's all for now, folks. From today onwards, we'll have news every two months. This change is due to the development of Lost Sanity: Cthulhu, which will be running in parallel with Sparky.

That's all for today, folks. Later this month, we will fix some bugs after the closed beta testing, and next month, we will begin the level design of the next maps. Have a good night everyone, and see you soon! ;) Oh yeah... More details soon... Steam post image
