You can now find a DRM free version of SS2 in your steam folder, this version does not use any steam features. If you want to use your steam version save file, you'll have to manually copy paste it.

I'm also working on an extra boss gauntlet mode thing, for those of you that finished that game and want and extra challenge, or for people that just don't like the exploring part. I'll be adding new bosses to this mode, but don't hold your breath. I can't spend all my time developing this (got a real job too.) So I have no idea when this is going to be finished.
