Space Travellers changes
We are currently working on a larger volume of changes. For now, at least, we'd like to give you an idea of what we're working on.
A new character and work on the surface of planets without loading.
The main change in the pipeline is an attempt to make a persistent universe without recording. For now, we're going to handle this with an intermediate step.
We've created an exploration droid that you'll be able to drop on the surface of the planet. The droid will have access to weapons and will be able to fly briefly.
We're significantly enlarging the planets and adding detail to them. The result should be the ability to operate on the surface of a planet without recording screens and with complete freedom.
The game should have a smoother and more interesting experience. So far we're working on Mars, then we'll probably try to remake an exoplanet.
All systems will run concurrently for now, i.e. all existing parts of the game can be used.
You won't be able to land the ship yet, but you will be able to jump anywhere above the surface.
New droid features under consideration: 1) taking over factories on the surface without recording 2) taking over combat missions on the surface.
Unfortunately, these big changes require a lot of work and interference with the system, so we can't release it as a demo yet.
