A few weeks ago, we were the target of a cyber attack on the Space Run Galaxy online servers. The hacker(s) took advantage of a vulnerability that has now been corrected, but which allowed the intruders to access and delete the database and its back-ups.
The servers were temporarily offline for a short time. Thank you for your alerts, which enabled us to bring the servers back online and fix this vulnerability.
Unfortunately, this situation resulted in the complete loss of your game progress. We know how important your Space Run Galaxy experience is, so we'll be putting in place a process that will allow you to recover a custom game save, ensuring you don't have to start a new game from scratch.
We're very sorry about this situation, and we hope that the solution provided by Passtech Games and Focus Entertainment will work for you.
Please be reassured that these hackers have not recovered any personal data about your account, as we do not store such information on our servers at all.
