Welcome to our dev log for our upcoming strategy game! Today, we're thrilled to introduce you to one of the key elements of the game: character creation. In our game, players will have the opportunity to step into the shoes of various characters, each with their own unique abilities and backgrounds.

Name

You can personalize your character name and bank name, then spread both across the space to gain prestige and popularity. This will increase your sphere of influence, enabling you to take one step further towards more profitable opportunities.

Citizenship

One of the key aspects of the game is your starting point, which is determined by your citizenship. This system alters the way you interact with others, the number of people available for interaction, the tax rates affecting your growing profits, and the potential vulnerability to attacks at the beginning. However, as game time progresses, your communication with other regions will increase.

Space Setting

The game offers players regions that are initially created from scratch. The space setting influences various elements, such as the number of ships in the region and the quantity of stations.

Politic View

Your political views can either make or break you in this game. Initially, they will be shaped not only by your own opinions but also by your interactions with other political viewpoints. However, you can alter these views once you start playing the game. Some political perspectives will align with the citizenship you choose, but more importantly, they will be the ones you can influence by gaining power. You have the option to make different decisions over time, diverging from your initial stance, or you can opt to steer clear of politics altogether by selecting views that have minimal impact on others.

Cult Path

The cult path allows you to choose your current population to start with, but the possibilities to increase these values can be enhanced with different options, and you can select paths that are more detrimental to your competitors. In short, you can have better starting paths, paths that are more moderate, and paths for the future. You can opt for more skills by not choosing any of them.

Skills

The biggest impact of skills is on dialogue. You can create good opportunities by balancing them with the cult population. Events will come to you in the game, and you can take advantage of them with your skills. Skills have various effects on your economic decisions, attacks, station management, and planet management.
