Space Hole 2018: 2023 Edition! Space Hole 2018 v2.0 Steam post imageThis is the largest set of changes to Space Hole 2018 since the 1.0 patch in 2019. Some of these changes incorporate learnings and techniques from my upcoming game, EXTREME EVOLUTION: drive to divinity, which itself is a spiritual successor to Space Hole 2018! Steam post imageMajor new things: New pause menu (start on controller or Esc on keyboard), featuring a list of the aspects you've unlocked & their default key binding, the total number of space gems you've collected, and control/UI options. Control remapping & graphics settings remain in the pre-game launcher. Ending (where you get the Very Far achievement) reworked. Warp reworked (levels now have shiny borders, perspective is angled down). Steam post image View overall Space map from the pause menu of Warp. New progression tracking in pause menu (grow the space gem cluster!) New objective marker & new zone indication text. Objectives such as space gems, aspects, and holes are now marked with icons. Note a different icon is used for ball holes and ball/ship holes! New aspects in Lab will be labeled with a '?' Steam post image New toggleable options to disable popup UI messages (such as the respawn reminder and the All Clear text) Deep3c (a level in Deep Space) performance fix (this is the purple level with too many particles and a small swervy track) Slow-mo effect when you pickup space gems Faster loading, especially the main menu from the photosensitivity warning Delete your save from the main menu pause menu Steam post image
