After months and months of hard work, Space Cat v2.0 is finally here!
CHANGELIST
-New Content-
Adventure Mode added. Eight sidescrolling stages of wild bullet-hell platforming action and unique bosses at the end of every level. Up to 4-player co-op is available.
Hat Shop and Hat Coins added. Hat Coins are collectables randomly found in every mode in the game, used to purchase hats for your character.
Main menu has been changed into a small hub world with doors accessing each game mode.
There is now an Extras room, allowing you to toggle the screen's border color, and the game's soundtrack mode.
You can now pick between the original soundtrack and the arranged soundtrack. The arranged soundtrack is still a work in progress and only a handful of arranged tracks are available at the time.
-Tweaks and changes to the original game-
Space Cat accelerates and turns around quicker.
Fuel recharges when standing on ground. Fuel tanks are still collectable, but much more situational and serve mostly as a last resort. This is mostly for experimentation and will probably be nerfed in the future.
Many clipping-through-floor bugs have been ironed out.
Oil Cans have replaced ?-Capsules on the options menu. They function the same physically but instead of dispensing items, they explode like bombs. ?-Capsules still show up, just less frequently.
Controls room has been modified to allow default Xinput controls to be turned off.
Many sound doubling glitches have been fixed.
Many umbrella-related glitches have been fixed.
Jet boost now has a proper speed cap, and does not glitch on ice blocks anymore.
Various bugfixes!
