In-Game Updates
Note Update: We’ve received feedback regarding some songs where the notes would unexpectedly skip or be off-sync, causing discomfort during gameplay. To address this, we've implemented a large-scale update to the note system, ensuring a smoother experience.
Monster vs. Normal Note Differentiation: We recognized that the difference between monster notes and normal notes wasn't as clear as intended. As a result, we've made significant visual improvements to make them more intuitive and visually distinct for players.
Offset Issue with Increased Speed: We also noticed that speeding up the game caused note offset issues. To fix this, we've revised the calculation formulas for more accurate synchronization during faster gameplay.
Art & Visual Updates
Visual Balance Adjustments: Based on feedback about difficulty distinguishing between the background, characters, and monsters, we’ve made adjustments to the overall visual balance to enhance clarity and visibility.
- New Skin ReleaseWe’re excited to introduce a new Horror version skin for G, the protagonist of Sound of Slash! Check it out for a new, thrilling look.
UI Updates
Music Selection UI Overhaul: We’ve redesigned the Music Selection UI to better reflect the unique identity of Sound of Slash while also making it more user-friendly. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to hearing what you think!
Early Access Benefits
- Unlock All ContentPreviously, certain songs, icons, skins, and backgrounds had to be unlocked by completing missions. Now, we've made them all available right from the start! Enjoy a variety of skins and backgrounds as you play, and feel free to share your thoughts with us for future updates.
